A loose confederation of planets and solar systems at the edge of the Solara Imperium, the Concord of Aedryn, and the Aetherion Corporation.
Founded during the grand expansion of those empires as a collection of free worlds attempting to retain self-autonomy, the hollow stars confederation technically has no central authority, with each planet/ecosystem providing representatives that allow negotiations between each internal government. There are some hard-set rules that all planets in the Hollow Stars need to agree with in order to be a member of the confederation. The planet must not block trade with any other planet within the confederation, the planet must allow Rangers from other planets in the confederation to hunt down criminals that fled the original planet, if one planet is attacked by an outside government body all planets must provide aid in whatever way they can to stop the whole confederacy from falling, the internal government must not recognize itself as part of a larger non-Hallow Star government
